Private sound journeys, small-group sound baths, and cacao ceremonies in Maryland and the DC area

Sound Baths

Enter A Field of crystalline sound

Grandmother Bowl

Sound travels where language cannot always follow

The pure, resonant tones of Crystal Alchemy Singing Bowls create an immersive field of vibration that can quiet the thinking mind, deepen awareness, and invite the body into rest, balance, and greater spaciousness.

Each bowl is a singular instrument, formed from high-purity quartz crystal and infused with gemstones, minerals, or precious metals. Its note, tuning, alchemy, and individual voice become part of a larger harmonic conversation.

Depending on the intention of the session, I may start with a frame drum or whistle before moving into the bowls. The deep rhythm of the drum can support clearing and grounding, while helping energy that feels held or blocked begin to move. I may close with Koshi chimes or a rattle, allowing the experience to settle.

Drawing upon my shamanic experience as well as my training with internationally acclaimed musician and sound-healing educator Jeralyn Glass, I create sound experiences with attention to musical harmony, crystalline frequency, intention, and the energy of the people gathered. No two sessions unfold in precisely the same way.

Private Alchemy Bowl Sessions

A private sound journey is created around you.

To start a sound bath, we begin with a conversation about what you would like the session to support. I then select bowls and combine notes, harmonics and alchemies to create a tailored experience.

As you listen to the sound, you may feel the notes in your body, become aware of images or emotions, meditate, or simply rest within the music. I can also offer some guided imagery. You don’t need to do anything, though.

Small Group Alchemy Sound Sessions

For intimate groups, the bowls create a shared harmonic field, while each person receives the frequencies in their own way.

I can shape a gathering around a central theme. Each person still has space to set their own individual intention. For example, in one session, guests each drew an archetype oracle card and listened for how the music reached that aspect of them. I then wove each archetype into a guided meditation, creating an experience that was both collective and deeply personal.

Cacao Ceremony

For intimate groups of two to six, I offer cacao ceremonies centered on warmth, connection, and the pleasure of gathering together.

While each cacao ceremony is shaped around the people present and their intention, you can expect:

A welcome and a shared intention
We begin by arriving together and reflecting on what has brought everyone to the circle, whether that is friendship, celebration, healing, connection, or simply the wish to share meaningful time.

Ceremonial cacao
The cacao is prepared and shared slowly, creating a warm center for the gathering and inviting everyone to settle, soften, and become more present.

Guided reflection
The ceremony may include meditation, quiet reflection, journaling, conversation, or the sharing of stories and insights.

Heart-centered connection
These intimate gatherings offer space to listen more deeply, speak honestly, laugh, remember what matters, and feel the warmth of being fully present with one another.

Sound and gentle ritual
Depending on the intention of the ceremony, I may weave in Crystal Alchemy Singing Bowls, music, simple ritual, or gentle movement to deepen the atmosphere and support the gathering.

For a little while, the ceremony becomes its own small world of warmth, connection, and shared presence.

Care is part of the work

For healers, caretakers, and those who so often hold space for others: you deserve to have experiences that nourish you, too.

I believe deeply in the work of understanding our shadows, questioning old patterns, and recognizing what within us needs to change. Growth requires honesty.

But honesty is not the whole of the work. Nurturing ourselves, warming our hearts, and allowing time to ground and integrate are part of how change becomes lived, embodied, and sustainable.

These sound journeys and cacao ceremonies offer a warm place to pause, return to yourself, and receive some of the care you may so readily give to others. These experiences are created to support grounding, integration, and a more open heart.
